- Health Support by providing medical assistance to those in need.
- Providing avenues for income generation through employment and self-employment opportunities.

Our Team
Raghu Rajagopal (India) and Venky Sadagopan (USA) came together after the Chennai floods in 2015 and decided to start a non profit organization to help the people that have been affected by natural calamities. It started with the Chennai floods then the Kerala Floods and in the recent times the pandemic has impacted many peoples livelihood. We have set up two legal entities one in India which is set up as a trust and one in the US which is a 501(3)c organization.

Managing Trustee - IndiaRaghu Rajagopal has over 25 plus years of experience in the IT/ITES/Software Product industry in the US and India. He has been socially active through DATRI India’s largest blood stem cell registry which he was the CEO of for 10 years. During the Chennai floods he along with Venky Sadagopan started Punarjanmam Foundation Trust (Punarjanm). He believes in creating a stellar team which will then execute on the objectives of Punarjanm.

Founder President – USAHas over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, has run his own business and continues to advise startups for business and market development. Venky has been socially active and has contributed to the under privileged. He is the Core Committee Member of American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association. He believes in collaboration and building the right team to execute on the objectives of Punarjanm.
S N Prabhu
Co-Founder – Director USAS.N. Prabhu, also known as “Singer” Prabhu is a IT Director by profession and an active organizer/supporter for fundraising events in and around the US, Canada, and India. He has helped by collecting funds for numerous charity organizations through his singing and organization skills. His laudable talents have been well recognized and appreciated when he shared the limelight with doyens of the music industry like singers Dr. K.J. Yesudas, Dr. SPB, Smt. P.Susheela, music directors Shri. M.S. Viswanathan, Shri. Deva and also by lending his voice to several premier television shows. He has cut devotional albums, the proceeds of which are being channeled towards human welfare by reputed organizations. He is an active volunteer of Sankara Nethralaya and Cancer Institute Foundation and has been leading fund raising events for these organizations in addition to many to help the indigent patients in INDIA. He actively performs in an around the US, Canada and India currently.

She has been personally involved in providing education and support for few children and their families for the past few years and now being a part of Punarjanm, she has found a wide opportunity to help and support the community by being a part of this organization and teaming up with these extremely talented, efficient like-minded people. Professionally Anandhi Saranathan is a Director of HR & Operations for a Group of companies providing IT Consulting and Services, she brings with her 15 years of experience Managing Human Resources and as a part of her profession, she had the opportunity to support many people and organizations, now she will bring great value in making a difference and giving back with to the society with her experience and enthusiasm.

Co-Founder - Director USAHarsha Venkatesh is a seasoned Human Resources and Immigration consultant with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has vast experience in handling a large number of skilled labor in the USA and in India as a HR / Employee Relations Manager. Harsha runs a boutique consulting firm “Asius LLC” and is a resident of New Jersey, USA. She has been a stoic pillar of support to Punarjanm since its inception, and has joined the US Board to help augment the fundraising and outreach efforts.
Angel George
Program Co-Ordinator – ChennaiAngel has an MBA from the Madras University and has been associated in the services sector for the last 15 years. She has experience in working in Ramachandra Medical Hospital where she has learnt how to be a bridge between the doctors and the patients.At Punarjanm she coordinates with the donors and the beneficiaries and provides logistical support for the functioning of the organization.
Farzana
Development Professional & a Humanitarian ActivistFarzana is a Development Professional and Humanitarian Activist working at the intersection of Gender Equity, Child Welfare, Education, Health, and Community Development. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Counseling from TISS, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
With over 10 years of experience in India’s Social Development sector, she has contributed in both government roles and civil society organizations. Her expertise lies in Psychosocial Care, Well-being, and Crisis Interventions, especially with vulnerable communities. She has worked with institutions such as the Special Police Unit for Women & Children, All India Radio, Indo Global Social Service Society, and Indian Social Responsibility Network. Outside of her professional work, Farzana is also a musician, with original music available on global streaming platforms.

She is skilled in devising content, PR and influencer management strategy for brands which are built on word-of-mouth and influencer advocacy. Currently she works on her venture The Trend Story and is an avid participative sportsman and an amateur blogger.

Swati Yadav is highly motivated, proactive, business analyst with 6 years of experience and has always been associated in some capacity with the social sector. She has completed her engineering from Mumbai University and Masters from Rennes, France. Since 2010 she has been working with various NGOs and is a founder of ‘I Can Save life’ that handles blood transfusion needs in India. She is skilled in handling social media marketing, team building, optimization activity cost, and strategy planning. In Punarjanm her role is to handle Social media platforms and increase awareness so maximum people benefit from our efforts.

I am humbled to be carrying a rich experience in marketing, content development, brand management and media relations. I have realised that playing this role for non-profit organisations, is the most satisfying experience. I currently volunteer for Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities and I am also involved in designing programs for their Early Childhood Education Program.”
